ABOUT THIS BOOK
Take No Prisoners is
the first collected volume of the short fiction of John Grant, an
acknowledged master of fantasy and science fiction. The worlds of John
Grant are many and various. John Clute says of Take No Prisoners," The
worlds of John Grant are harsh, interconnected, florid, fluent, fun..."
Vera Nazarian says, "John Grant is a master of transcendent literary
fantasy. His work is baroque, rich...a spicy cauldron of story..." N.
Lee Wood describes Take No Prisoners as, "...stories with a wonderfully
dream-like quality that skirt the edge of nightmares, misty fairy tales
messily devoured by fireside ghost stories, perfect for curling up with
for a foggy winter's night of reading pleasures." Bob Eggleton says,
"John Grant's stories are sharper than a serpent's tooth," and Jael
states that, "John Grant delivers big time."
